What We Collect

We collect your name, email address, and the profile information you provide during onboarding (country, income estimate, number of children). We store metadata about documents you scan — specifically the document type and expiry date extracted by AI. We do not permanently store raw images of your documents after analysis.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the Bridge AI service: calculating benefit eligibility, sending expiry alerts, and personalising your experience. We never sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on servers located in the EU (Ireland). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

AI Processing & Your Documents

Bridge AI uses OpenAI's GPT-4o vision model to analyse document images you upload. Here is exactly what happens when you scan a document:

• Your document image is sent securely to OpenAI for analysis.
• OpenAI extracts structured information (document type, expiry date, deadlines, amounts due).
• The extracted data is stored in your Bridge AI account. The raw image is not permanently stored after analysis.
• We use OpenAI's API under their data processing agreement. OpenAI does not use API inputs to train their models by default.

AI Limitations: Bridge AI provides AI-generated analysis as general information only — not legal, financial, or medical advice. Always verify important information with official sources or a qualified professional. AI analysis may occasionally be inaccurate.

Document Vault (Pro): Files uploaded to the Document Vault are stored encrypted in Supabase Storage (EU servers). They are not sent to any AI model unless you explicitly request analysis. You can delete vault files at any time.
